Our Mission
The Pawvillion Sanctuary is the first project created by The Art Of Peace Foundation, a non-profit organization who’s mandate is to strategically manage complex problems by combining the resources and processes of science, art, entertainment, and design as a way of creating holistic solutions.
The concept for the Pawvillion is to create the first 100% self-sustainable domestic animal rescue and sanctuary.
We have designed a scalable and easily replicated facility that can run completely off-the-grid and can be perpetually funded though its own micro-economy.In addition, the “EchoPlex” changes the fundamental functionality of the standard shelter – from being a place where animals are merely crated until whatever fate that awaits them, to one of hyper-productivity towards the end goal of providing a high quality of life for our precious rescues.
We believe that by creating a place where people will want to go, while simultaneously helping our animals to become more adoptable, we solve the most dire issues our animals and those who advocate for them face: creating an atmosphere that fosters more adoptions.
The design of our facility focuses on four things: exercise, play, rehab, and socialization.
So rather than just stuffing traumatized animals into cages, which only makes them less adoptable, our staff and volunteers can easily navigate one or many of our residents through multiple yards tracks and training areas. This not only benefits the animals, but the humans as well. Hence drawing in more adopters and volunteers.
